How does it all work?

I am able to offer a Relational Integrative counselling service to individuals to help explore:

I am a proud ally and member of the queer community in Norfolk. I am very committed to, and passionate about working with people wanting to explore gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity. I am deeply committed to providing an informed, affirmative and anti-oppressive experience to all clients.

The first step is for you to make contact, so we can have a brief chat, and decide on a time that works for us both to meet for an initial session.

In the first session we will get a chance to talk a bit about what has been happening for you, and what your hopes are for the counselling process. This is also a chance for you to consider whether you would like to work with me.

We will also think about whether to work together for a fixed period of time or in a more 'open ended' way. At this stage we will also try to arrange a regular weekly session. You can find some helpful information about what to expect in your first session here:​


​How much does counselling cost?

The fee for a counselling session is £55. This is for a 50 minute session. I have a limited number of concession spaces which are available to student counsellors. Please ask if this applies to you and to see if there are any concession spaces available.

​How does it work?

As your counsellor, I will listen to everything you have to say without judgement. I will provide you with a safe, welcoming and confidential space to explore whatever you like.

I will listen to you, and hear you. Together, we will work to understand your world, and try to gain insight and perspective on what has been difficult for you.

In relationship, we will work towards a greater level of insight into things that may be troubling you or things that you may have preferred to ignore in the past.

​I was trained in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling by Matrix College of Counselling and Psychotherapy. This is the approach I use today with clients. You can read more about this approach here:
