ExperienceI have been working with clients in a range of settings for six years, and have my own private practice alongside agency work.
I worked for five years as a counsellor for Suffolk County Council within a Sure-start Children's Centre. This has given me an extensive experience of working with a wide range of clients, and a multitude of different issues. I am particularly interested in relationships, and how the relationships in our past and present effect us. I have particular and extensive experience in working with Domestic Abuse, and have gained valuable experience working for Women's Aid. I have received training in understanding different types of abuse, as well as coercive control. I am DBS checked, and am trained in adult and children's safeguarding. I am trained to work with individuals aged 18 and beyond. All genders, sexualities and ethnicity are welcome. I look forward to hearing from you. |
